Hey friends!
Brianna Lepper here today and I’m so excited to share my first layout using the absolutely stunning Cottagecore collection. This collection couldn’t have been released at a more perfect time. I know I will have so many great photos of me and my family spending great moments in the kitchen and sharing memories around the table. I can’t wait to use it again!
To start, I went through the 12×12 patterned papers and tore two pieces from the Nostalgic paper. I adhered one to the top and the other to the bottom of a piece of white cardstock. I wanted that pattern to resemble my Moms kitchen floor and I really love that design. Next, I included some of the gorgeous Rub Ons in three different spots on my background. I also include a little bit of ink blending using a Distress Oxide ink in Scattered Straw. I then went through the Die Cut Elements Pack and both of the Laser Cut Elements packs and pulled out some great pieces to build somewhat of a scene design.
I matted my photo using one of the 6×8 Papers and popped my title using one of the Die Cut Elements right on top of it. I added lots of foam tape to all of my pieces so that everything popped in my layers. All of these embellishments are just so gorgeous!!!
I really love how the embellishments really highlight my photo and it makes it look like we are standing in this beautiful scene I created. The color palette is dreamy and this collection is just so beautiful. Here’s one last look at this page:
