Hello creative friends,
with a little bit of emotion I show you my first layout as Design team. I wanted to introduce myself with something that spoke a lot about me and my passions and for this reason I chose to use a travel collection. Why? Because traveling is my greatest passion and I believe that you don’t necessarily need to take a plane to explore the world. I like to travel with my mind by reading about lands near or far, through photos, or simply by exploring and appreciating the surroundings of my home. You always find a new perspective even in things you have already seen.
In this photo I’m exploring the hills near where I live with my husband, a beautiful adventure that has a perfect match in the Wherever collection!
And here is my layout.
I chose to highlight the photos with the title and embellishments that match the colors of the photos, I love how the yellows and blues in this collection echo the colors of autumn leaves and the sky.
Almost always in my layouts I prefer an overlapping of decorations and embellishments with different consistencies and for this reason I always mix the laser embellishments with the diecuts and chipboards and a lot of double-sided tape of different heights. I’d like to add a few rubons for a peek-a-boo effect or to give a second caption to the layout.
I always love to highlight photos, and the embellishments I use, for me, are a second caption. They always tell the moment and the meaning behind the scenes of the project.
