Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here
I’m so excited to share a new layout using the brand new Rust and Revs collection. This collection has a great masculine vibe and is perfect for so many of your boy layouts. There are a lot of great car elements in this collection and I decided to document a few photos of my son on the day he got his car! It was such a special day and we loved seeing how happy he was.
To start, I took both the Thrill and Journey 12×12 Papers and tore into them. I wanted to have patterned paper and a bit of mixed media on my page, so I selected a textured white cardstock as my base. After ink blending a few Distress Oxide inks in coordinating colors onto my cardstock, I then adhered both patterned papers at the top of my page. Next, I took a few eyelets from my stash and set them at the top of my layout. I strung a few of the gears and tires from the Laser Cut pack through some white twine and then pulled it through the eyelets. So fun!
Next, I took the Rub-On Transfers and applied a few right on top of my ink blending. They’re one of my favorite embellishments and I love the look of them layered right on top of that ink.
I then took a few frames from the Ephemera pack and layered them underneath both of my photos. I also pulled in a few other elements from that pack and layered them into clusters around my photos.
I chose a phrase for my title and popped it up on foam tape. It fit perfectly to the left of my bottom photo and matched this page perfectly!
To embellish the rest of my page I went through both the Ephemera and Laser Cut pieces and adhered a few more here and there. I also included a few of the Bubble Epoxy Stickers.
