I’ve been waiting for the perfect paper to scrap these owls and along comes Eucalyptus from 49 & Market. We were lucky to receive these photos from a photographer my husband met while walking the dogs. Bill asked what he was photographing, looked through the lens, and saw this gorgeous baby owl.
Can’t you just see how proud that Momma Owl is? And, she has a look of “don’t even think of messing with my baby!” Although I’ve never used wood on my layouts before, I decided to try it with Eucalyptus. The colors were right and so was the subject.
I’ve also used a leaf spray from Eucalyptus Laser Cuts to connect the two phojtos. Needing a bit more gray in the upper right corner of the layout, I added Eucalyptus Rub-on Transfers.
Leftovers from Serenity Die Cut pieces came in handy for layering as well as a photo strip from Sage Essential Filsmstrips.
It’s been a pleasure working on this layout with photos saved from years ago.
