Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here and I am beyond thrilled to share my first layout for the 49 and Market DT! I’m working with the brand new Wherever Collection and it’s gorgeous! We LOVE to travel and I have a bunch of photos that I can’t wait to document using this collection. Here’s my page:
To start, I took a piece of textured white cardstock and trimmed it down to an 11×11 size. I then matted it using the Outlook 12×12 paper. I love the map design and it made the perfect frame for my base. I wanted to add a bit of color to my background, so I ink blended on a few Distress Oxide inks in the colors, Faded Jeans, Rustic Wilderness, and Wild Honey. These colors match this collection so nicely! I then got to building the rest of my page. I love creating layers and the Ephemera Bits and Acetate Assortment packs are perfect to help build these layers. I even added a strip of the Postage Stamp Washi Tape on the right side of my page. I love how it turned out!
To add more layers and some dimension, I included a frame from the Chipboard Frame pack. It’s fun to tuck in all of those Ephemera Bits here and there. I also added several of the Chipboard Bits into my clusters to help bring in more color and a few fun travel icons. I popped some up on foam tape for extra dimension and adhered them right onto my photos as well. Look at all of those gorgeous layers!
For my title, I used two phrases from the Chipboard Words pack and adhered them at the top and bottom of my photos. I love the font! For some finishing touches, I sprinkled in a few of the dots from the Wishing Bubbles & Baubles pack and then tucked in a few of the Mini Laser Cut Elements here and there. These are probably one of my favorite embellishments! They’re so thin and they’re the perfect additions to my layers/clusters.
