Hey friends!
Brianna here today and I’m SO happy to share my first layout using the brand new Toddler Time collection. This collection couldn’t have been released at a more perfect time, especially because I have a toddler! I have so many photos of my daughter and I can’t wait to make so many more projects using this adorable collection.
Here’s my page:
To start, I chose the Airplanes 12×12 paper as my base. I then took the Playtime 12×12 paper and trimmed it down to a 6×12 size and adhered it to the base. I wanted all my photo and embellishment clusters to pop off of the page, so I decided to add a piece of white cardstock right on top of the Playtime paper. I trimmed it down to a 5×12 and layered it right on top. I also made sure to distress the edges of all of the papers. I then went through the 6×8 papers and trimmed out three 3×3 squares using different papers. I distressed their edges and popped them up on foam tape. Before adhering them down to my white cardstock, I took out the Blendable Rub-Ons and selected the large green and blue lace pieces. They added the perfect touch under those 3×3 squares!
For the center square, I chose it to house my photo and title. I selected my title from the Ephemera Bits pack and it was perfect for my photo. My daughter is curious about anything and everything and is constantly on the hunt for fun new things. She’s at such a fun age!
I decided to build two embellishment clusters on both the left and right squares. I built them using more Ephemera Bits, Chipboard Pieces as well as some Laser Cut Elements. There are so many cute pieces in this collection!
Here’s a look at the square on the right side of the page. I love the mix of child-like elements with florals and butterflies thrown in. The color palette is beautiful as well! I just can’t help adding so many layered bits on my pages. The embellishments in these collections are perfect for layering.
