Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Welcome to the blog today.
I am sharing my first layout using the Christmas Spectacular 12×12 Collection. This collection is bright and cheerful and has so many fun elements.
This is a picture of James, my grandson, taken last Christmas. Look at his face!
For this layout, I used the Hidden Holly paper.
Here is my layout.

I created a look-a-like hymnbook by layering the photo on the sheet music cardstock from the Ultimate Page Kit of Christmas Spectacular. I then layered this on V/A Naturalist and Curators Essential Bookplates and notebook edges from the Curators Essential Laser Cut Elements. I also added Ephemera Bits from the ARToptions Holiday Wishes and Christmas Spectacular. On the bookplates, I glued tabs from the Ephemera Bits.

Here you can see how I used the beautiful holly and mistletoe rub-ons under the layers. These are included in the 12×12 Color Wash Rub-on Transfer Set.

To create the cluster, I used elements from the Greenery and General Laser Cuts. Chipboard bits and words are included in this collection, and I glued a chipboard label, tab, circle shape, stars, and chipboard words to my layout. These cute Christmas lights are from the 6×8 Classis Rub-on Transfer Set.
This collection also includes a beautiful 12×12 inch Sentiments rub-on transfer sheet, and
I used one of the sentiments for the title of my layout.

I used another sentiment here. I made this cluster using banners and word strips from the Ephemera Bits, elements from the Chipboard Set, and Chipboard Words.
The final touches to this layout included washi stickers, and splatters with diluted white gesso.
