Christmas – Layout by Robin Schelin
Hello everyone. Well, we made it through Christmas! Even though it’s ‘officially’ over, it’s not really over till New Years and till the tree comes down! So, one more Christmas layout to share with you. I’m kinda sad that this is the last holiday layout of the year. But I was so happy that I was able to create using the gorgeous Christmas Spectacular collection. This layout is of my granddaughter many years ago on her first Christmas.
I used the fabulous Ultimate Page Kit to design this layout. I kept to the example for the most part. I did add rubs from the Classic Rub-On Transfer Set to the top and the bottom tho to break up the white space.I added one of the snowflakes from the kit here on the left of the photo and used some of the wonderful poinsettias from the Greenery Laser Cut Elements. I also used one of those amazing frames from the Chipboard Frames under the photo. I just love these frames…wish I had more! Above the photo I added the sentiment ‘Merriest’ here pointing to the word Christmas on the song sheet. Just seemed to fit!
To the left of the photo, I replaced the filmstrip in the kit with one of the acetate Filmstrip Frames. The one from the kit had the word ‘Merriest’ on it, and I wanted to use the title ‘Christmas’ from the Chipboard Word Set there. I added more holly and flowers from the Greenery Laser Cut Elements under the title. Under the holly at the bottom is 1/2 of the candy stripe pole. I used the other half on the right side at the top.
At the bottom right of the photo, I added another snowflake under the sentiment with more holly on top of it.
The right side has that other half of the striped pole next to a tag from the Ephemera Bits. Then poinsettias, holly, berries and a pinecone from the Greenery Laser Cut Elements.
Love the design of this page from the Ultimate Page Kit. Perfect! Makes it so easy to scrap with beautiful results. Well, that’s it. No more Christmas layouts till next year. I’m sure we will have another collection just as beautiful as this one is to inspire us!
