Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year. I have a layout created with ARToptions Spice to share with you today.
The papers are from the ARToptions Spice Foundations 12″ x 12″ paper pack. I have used two of the paper no 4 – the solid for the matting and the reverse side cut down to 11″x 11″, edges distressed before adhering. I started with the frame for the photos first – the frame is from the Cluster Kit. I also added the chipboard hinges from the cluster kit to the frame – using glossy accents on the “screws” to create dimension. The photos were adhered and then this was added to the paper with thick foam tape.
I used the large lasercut flower cluster from the Cluster Kit – cut in half and added half to the top left corner of the frame with thinner foam tape and the other half with thinner foam tape to the bottom right corner of the frame. The View Funder disc (From the Ephemera pack) was cut in half and then tucked under the opposite sides of that large cluster. From here I began to build layers top and bottom, using lasercuts, ephemera (which I cut off the white edges) and also fussy cutting the elements on the back side of the cover to the 12×12 Collection pack.
Among the lasercuts and fussy cut elements I have also added tickets from the Ephemera pack, as well Plum Florets Paper Flowers. The green leaves are from the lasercut pack, which I have cut down the whole piece to individual leaves and arranged around the clusters.
The title ‘good Times” is a lasercut piece which has the stitching printed on already. I then used some stitching rubons from the Stitching Essentials Rubons 6×8 over the stitching and over the edges to create the effect that this was sewn onto the page.
