Hello 49 and Market Fans
Thank you for joining me on the blog today. I would like to share my latest project with you using the gorgeous ARTOptions Plum Grove collection which is full of coloured hues that are suggestive of a perfect sunset over a field of wildflowers.
What I really wanted to showcase with this project is that using only a few elements within a collection it is possible to still create something beautiful given the versatility, quality and the quantity of items in each packet within a collection.
I really loved working with the colours in this collection and even though I would have never thought of mixing purple and orange together, I really love the end result.
Here is my layout done on Perspex.
I started by creating a vertical line down the centre of the Perspex disc by applying some netting and straws which can certainly be replaced by paper strips. I then added two ephemera cards super imposed on each other from the ARTOptions Plum Grove Ephemera Bits.
I placed two frames from the ARToptions Plum Grove Laser Cut Elements – one horizontally and one vertically and secured my photo on top.
I added some rub-ons from the ARToptions Plum Grove 6×8 Rub-on Transfer Set directly onto the Perspex to create some interest and just because the rub-ons are so beautiful.
I selected a number of elements from the ARToptions Plum Grove Laser Cut elements and ARTOptions Plum Grove Laser Cut Wildflowers to add and create layers on either side of the photo. These were secured with silicone glue to give the composition a 3D effect.
To complete the layout I added some Plum Wildflowers and some perfect pearls.
