Hello, 49 and Market Friends!
Another fun layout featuring the beautiful Spectrum Gardenia collection. I never get tired of creating with its infinite possibilities of colors and shapes. This collection is perfect for any occasion, any season, any photo color… isn’t it amazing?
For this page I combined two Painted Foundations papers, the Color Wheel on the bottom with the black and white stripe and the Pinwheel paper on the front, with the edges cut at 1/2″ on each.
I made cuts in the Pinwheel paper in the marks and divisions of some colors until the middle, not displacing the parts. I rolled up some of the edges of the cut paper so that the background paper would show up more.
I separated two pictures of my kids on a fun day at Universal Studios, one of the things they loved to do was to talk to the characters that appeared. It was always a lot of fun!
I placed the photos on top of two cards from the Ephemera Bits pack, I used foam adhesive to give height and highlight the photos.
To go with the colors of the Pinwheel paper, I’ve separated some Flower Laser Cut elements and butterflies also in the same colors from Butterfly Laser Cut Elements.
After pasting the photos, I went on to position the flowers and butterflies in the same color blocks.
I finished this super simple layout with Chipboard Words forming my title, Best Friends, and used hearts and other phrases from the pack, following the colors.
Often you don’t need much to make a beautiful layout that you like, all you need is the perfect collection and good photos, like Spectrum Gardenia.
