Hello, 49 and Market Friends!

I’m so happy to be here with you again. I’m using the stunning Vintage Artistry Sunburst collection to make this layout.
I love working with 49 and Market collection. The papers always help me with ideas and the decoration should go. I recorded a new YouTube video, and I hope you enjoy it.

I made this page with pictures of my kids enjoying so much the beach at Curacao in 2016. One of the most beautiful beaches, we’ve ever visited.
I chose the paper Ray of Sunshine for the background of my page from the 12×12 collection pack. To achieve harmony between the colors, I highlighted blue and green in my layout. My intention was that at some points you could see the blue and yellow merging to create the green. A bit crazy, it may be, but I really like working colors into my pages.

As you can see in the video, I used Sunburst Color Wash rub-ons over the design on my paper. Then I sewed a few lines with black thread following the yellow sunbeams. I placed two blue-green film strips under my 4 photos (I love using photos that show a bit of movement).

I used more rub-ons to give more touches of green and blue, but now from Set 6×8. I then glued pieces of cardboard underneath my photos, adding height and depth to my page.

For the decoration, I used elements from General Laser Cut Elements, Ephemera Bits, and Chipboard Set. Always emphasizing the blue, green and yellow palette. I finished with enamel dots from the Laser Cluster Kit.
