Hello, 49 and Market fans!
Welcome to the blog today. Wishing you a Happy New Year with the hope that you will have many blessings in the year to come.
I am sharing my first layout for 2024 using the ARToptions Spice 12×12 collection. This was my son and daughter-in-law’s engagement photo shoot.
For this layout, I used the Fuschia Grove paper and the Colored Foundation Paper 3. The Fuschia paper was cut in half for the sides and glued to cardstock and the Colored Foundation Paper 3 was glued to the center of the layout. A lace strip was cut into four pieces and glued to the Colored Foundation Paper 3. I layered the photos on lots of pieces from the Ephemera Bits. The 12×12 Collection pack includes a fussy cut elements sheet, and I used some of the elements. For the title, I used two sentiments from the 12×12 sheet of rub-on transfers. They are pretty and colorful. I also added rub-ons from the Spectrum Sherbet 6×8 Palettes rub-on transfer set. I am always amazed at how the different collections work perfectly together, even the older ones.
Here is my layout.
Here is one of the clusters from the amazing Cluster Kit. I replaced the orange butterfly with a pink butterfly from the Spectrum Gardenia Butterfly laser cut elements to suit my photos. I added a leaf stem from the Ephemera Bits, a word title from the Chipboard Word Set, and a ribbon from the Laser Cut Elements. A few leaves were added from the Laser Cut Mix Media Leaves set.
For the rest of the clusters, I used elements from the Ephemera Bits, Chipboard Word Set, Laser Cut Elements, Chipboard Set and Laser Cut Mix Media Leaves set. The cute bicycle and white picket fence are from the Vintage Artistry Countryside Laser Cut Elements.
For the layering of this cluster, I used a frame from The Ultimate Page Kit, Vintage Artistry Essentials Square File Frame, and Ephemera Bits. This beautiful pink butterfly is from the Spectrum Gardenia Butterfly laser cut elements and the phrase from the Chipboard Set.
I then randomly added wishing baubles and buttons to my layout. I also glued a few more chipboard words and phrases to my layout.
The final touches to this layout included washi stickers and splatters with diluted white gesso.
