Hello 49 and Market Fans
Thank you for joining me on the blog today. I am here to share my latest project using the simply gorgeous ArtOptions Rouge collection which is bursting with the sweet indulgence of pink and red florals which leave a distinctive sense of beauty, love and warm feelings. A collection so perfectly suited for the month of love and although February has already set its sails I thought I would share this project to remind us all how important it is for us to share our love and cherish every special moment.
I cut a small bit off the top and bottom of the ARToptions Rouge – Hidden Treasures pattern paper at an angle and secured it on top of the ARToptions Rouge – Sugar Babies pattern paper so that only a hint of the Sugar Babies pattern would show through.
I added some stitching rub-ons flush with these edges and some lace rub-ons from the ARToptions Rouge – 6×8 Rub-on Transfer Set. I secured a little cluster on the top right hand corner of the page with a chipboard title.
I added two big element sheets from the ARToptions Rouge – Ephemera Bits to form the foundation for my centre cluster and photos. Additional elements from the Ephemera Bits and the ARToptions Rouge – Laser Cut Elements were added to the centre composition to add dimension and additional interest to the page.
Once I had raised and secured the photos I complimented the layout with leaves, flowers, tickets, label holders, and a title from the ARToptions Rouge – Chipboard Words together with some filmstrips from ARToptions Rouge – Filmstrip Frames.
