Hi everyone.
I am back to share my latest layout using the most beautiful 49 and Market products. This time using the new ARToptions Rouge Collection. This collection is so gorgeous, it just screams romance and femininity with the pink and red colors, and all the fabulous co-ordinating elements!
I used Rouge Infatuation for my background paper. Such a soft and pretty pale pink. A perfect backdrop for the brighter elements I used to form the composition. To frame the photo I used 2 of Rouge Filmstrip Frames. On the top one I added a little bit of rub-on just around the corner from the Rouge 6×8 Rub-on Transfer Set to add a little color to the top of the layout.
Down the side of the layout on the left, I placed flowers and leaves from the Rouge Laser Cut Wildflowers to extend the floral cluster up that side of the layout. Then I added one each of the Royal Spray Bashful, Passion Pink and Olive flowers. Under them I inserted a cluster from the Rouge Laser Cut Elements set. Beneath the cluster, I placed some chipboard hearts from 2crafty that I heat embossed with Ultra Thick Embossing Powder. They just lent to the theme of the layout.
For the title, I first used a word strip under the photo, then used one of the fabulous rub-ons from the 12×12 Rouge Sentiment Rub-On Transfer Sheet. These titles are big and beautiful! Love them!! Under the title I added 3 little x’s from the Rouge 6×8 Rub-on Transfer Sheet to complete it. I cut one of the rub-ons from the 12×12 Rouge Rub-On Transfer Sheet in half and applied it to the bottom of the page. I think doing this added another point of interest. I like to use the “rule of 3’s” as much as I can. Doing this, there are 3 flower clusters. Here also are a couple of butterflies from the 12×12 Rouge Rub-On transfer Sheet, just because I love butterflies!
Up to the top right, coming full circle, I mimJicked the flower cluster on the left to balance out the composition.
