Hi, 49 and Market friends.
I’m happy to be sharing my first layout using the beautiful Mistletoe and Memories collection.

I chose starters paper 2 from the 12×12 Collection pack, along with the paper 2 and paper 5 from the 12×12 Solids pack. For my background I decided to go with a torn edge, layered design. Then I layered the photo with pieces from the Die-cut Journaling pack, adhering a thin piece of cardboard underneath for added dimension.

Next, I began building my flower clusters to frame the photo using various pieces from the Lasercut Foliage pack.

To help separate the element layers and give more dimension, I used foam glue dots. I love adding lots of dimension to my designs. I finished the design with splatters of white acrylic paint.

Did you mention that first you begin with an amazing photo of a beautiful child then use your talent to create the background and layers that are very impressive and highlight the photo. The layout is well done and eye catching. Thanks for sharing. I’m inspired to borrow from your talent and work on layering.
