Hello, crafters!
This is Sneha today with another blog. There’s something magical about creating keepsakes for the tiniest humans in our lives. Today, I’m so excited to share with you a soft and whimsical Banner-Style Baby Album I crafted using the 49 and Market – Little Dreamer/ Little Celebrations collection by Joanne Bain. This charming paper line is filled with delicate illustrations of woodland animals, pastel balloons, and dreamy floral elements, making it perfect for a baby-themed project!

Rather than going for a traditional mini album, I wanted to do something playful and unique — something that could easily double as a room décor piece and a memory holder. A banner album was the perfect format. Each banner “flag” is a page that flips individually, but the entire piece can be tied and hung or displayed flat like an accordion album. It’s interactive, decorative, and functional!

I began by cutting thick chipboard pieces into large banner-style flags . These form the sturdy base of each page. Each banner was covered front and back with 6×8 papers from the Little Dreamer collection. The tones are soft peach, creamy beige, and muted greens — set a dreamy tone right away.I punched holes at the top of each flag and used a silky sage green ribbon to bind the pages together. This not only connects the album, but adds elegance and charm.

Time to decorate! I built layered scenes on each banner. Each scene has dedicated polaroid-style photo mats and journaling spots, ready to capture memories Adorable animals from Laser Cut elements (squirrel, raccoon, bunny, giraffe, Wooden toys like a rocking chair and toy train. Rub-on transfers like balloons, rainbow, stars, and banners. Gorgeous neutral florals from the ephemera pack from LITTLE CELEBRATIONS collection.
