Hey friends!
Brianna back with you today and I’m sharing a layout using the new Wanderlust Explorer collection from Designer, Dennis Bruton. This collection has a great travel theme with a vintage vibe and I really enjoyed creating with it! I documented a few photos of my sister and I on two different flights heading to Toronto, Canada. We were on our way to see The Eras Tour and it was one of the best experiences of my life!!! Here’s my page:
I decided to use the Solids Sheet 2 from the Solids Collection Pack since I really wanted my photos to pop. I also wanted to bring in some papers from the 6×8 Paper Pad and have them highlighted a bit more. I ended up matting my photo with one of them (my 4×6 photo fit perfectly in the design on one of the papers) and then layered/staggered two other papers right behind it. I also distressed the edges for some interest. I temporarily placed it down on the Solids Sheet 2 so I could have an idea where everything would line up. I then pulled out the Rub On Transfers pack and added some to the top left and bottom right corners. I LOVE working with these Rub Ons. They layer perfectly and go on like butter!
Next, I popped my photo and papers up on foam tape and then centered and adhered it in the center of my page. My Rub Ons peeked out perfectly from both of those corners and made great foundations for two embellishment clusters.
I got to work on each of those clusters by pulling some pieces from both the Die Cut and Laser Cut Elements packs. I layered several pieces together and I’m so in love with those tiny passports… gosh, they’re cute!!!!
For my title, I chose a phrase from the Chipboard Words pack and adhered it right on top of my photo. Lastly, I stuck down some of the adorable Epoxy stickers and then added in some tangled thread in coordinating colors. For a finishing touch, I splattered on some white acrylic paint and that finished off my page! I love how it turned out:
