Making Merry Memories – Layout by Brianna

Hey friends!
Brianna here today and I’m so excited to share another layout using the beautiful Evergreen Season collection. Christmas is coming up in a few days and I couldn’t resist doing another festive layout! I documented this cute photo of my girl sitting in front of the tree at my Mom’s house. It’s crazy to see how much she’s changed this past year! Here’s my layout:

To start, I took the Festive Traditions 12×12 patterned paper and tore into it with the intention of having it adhered to the right side of a piece of white cardstock. I then ripped into it one more time and flipped it over so that the B side was exposed. I planned on tucking it under that first piece. But before I did that, I added some simple mixed media by ink blending a few Distress Oxide inks in coordinating colors onto the white cardstock. I love how it turned out!! It reminds me of lights in a Christmas tree.

Next, I went through both the Sentiments and Botanicals Rub Ons and added a few onto the ink blending. I then built up a large embellishment cluster under my photo using some of the Wildflowers Laser Cut Elements. I popped some pieces up on foam tape and was able to tuck additional pieces here and there.

I really love adding different layers and textures to my layouts and this one was no different! I love seeing the ink blending, Rub Ons, Laser Cut pieces, Epoxy Stickers and I even added some ribbon to the right side of the page. Soft, pretty and festive!

49 and Market products:

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I’ve inspired you in some way!
Do you like to add different layers and textural elements to your projects?
That’s what I love about the 49 and Market collections, there are so many great options for this… Laser Cut Elements, Chipboard, Rub-Ons, Acetate, Washi Stickers.. So many great things.
And you can add even more by including a bit of mixed media and some kind of ribbon as well! Happy Holidays friends, I’ll see you in my next post!
