Hello fellow 49 & Market Friends!
It’s Nikki Sher back to show you a fun layout I made using the new Cottagecore Collection designed by Dennis Bruton for 49 and Market. This collection is great for so many things but I really wanted to show the versatility of this line by choosing a few fishing photos I had from earlier in the year.
For this layout, I wanted to focus more on the colors of the collection to match my photos rather than any theme that the paper may have. I chose papers from the line that were more neutral in theme, specifically that plaid paper because it reminds me of an old blanket my dad had on his fishing boat. After layering the patterned paper to my liking, I made sure there would be a nice space for my photos to really shine.
Once the paper and photos were down, I added a few embellishments from the Die Cut Elements Pack and Rub-on Transfer Set from the collection. I love the way these added to my layout! And layering them together worked perfectly!
When applying the Rub-ons, I made sure to add some under and over my photo mat so that it really added dimension to the layout. I finished up the layout by adding the date with the Wishing Bubbles.
I just love how this layout came out! I love that this collection is so versatile and how I was able to use it for something completely different than what I originally had planned for it.
