Dear Santa - Layout By Julie

Hello everyone.
Welcome back to the 49 and Market blog. Julie here with you today & I’m excited to be sharing a layout using a mix of Evergreen Season & Color Swatch Willow. These go perfectly together & compliment each other very well.

I chose to use the back of the cover page from the 12×12 solids collection pack as my base paper. All 49 and Market collection packs have exclusive designs on their packaging which makes the collections even better value for money & this piece was just perfect as I was recording a memory of christmas posting & this paper had writing & postmarks all over it!!
I layered this paper onto a red solids 4, out the solids pack & added it at an angle & sewed into place, adding a few ripped areas to tuck in a few stamps from the postage washi rolls.

I assembled 2 of the envelope pockets by folding in the edge flaps & gluing at the corners, this gave me an area to tuck in some of the larger pieces out the ephemera pack, the ones that looked like letters, & use those as base layers for my photo. I also added a couple of pieces from the ephemera stackers, out the Color Swatch Willow collection to inject a bit of a different colour.

I’ve added a lace piece, out the Willow laser cut elements, at the left of the photo, & tucked in bits out the Evergreen Season ephemera pack, mini laser cuts & essentials rub ons.

I decorated, up the centre, with postage stamps, to continue the theme, & buttons from my stash.

I love that I’ve managed to capture this memory & hope i might have inspired you a bit.
