Hello, Everyone!
Today I’m here to inspire you with the new beautifully designed Ochre Collection. I chose the beautiful B side of paper 1 from the collection as my base for my layout.
I began with building my layers under the photo using the ephemera pack. Once I was happy with the layers I glued them together, then mounted them on a thin piece of cardboard for more dimension. I placed the photo on my background so I could work out the placement of the chipboard pieces, tucking them around the photo. Then I stamped the background with brown ink and the new stamps.
I then began my flower clusters I chose colors to compliment the photo and background. Going with Nature’s Bounty -Cream and a few smaller flowers from Sugar Blossoms -Butterscotch, mixing in a few from my stash. I made the leaves using the new stamp and die set. I then pulled some tickets, tags, butterflies, dragonflies, and word strips from the Laser Cut Elements pack. I tucked in the tags and tickets for added interest and to help build more dimension. I topped the clusters with the butterflies and a few pearls.
As a finishing touch I went around the background with some rub ons in Hickory.
