Hello fellow 49 & Market Friends!
It’s Nikki Sher here to show you an album I made using the brand new Krafty Garden Collection and the Create-an-Album Binder. Have you tried the Create-an-Album series yet? They are so versatile and fun to create with. Not only are there vertical and horizontal albums to choose from, there is also black or white and two different widths – Standard and Chunky! You can put them together in a variety of configurations including pre-made inserts from 49 and Market or you can use the Binder Mechanism and Binder Punch to make your own pages!
When I first saw the Krafty Garden Collection, I knew that I needed to design something
las
First, I designed all my pages so that they would show off the patterned paper as much as possible, but I also wanted to make sure there was an interactive feature in this album! There are lots of fun pockets, flaps and even an envelope I made from scratch!
When I’m working to embellish two opposing pages, I like to try and create a flow between the two pages. Sometimes that might be a color, similar embellishments or even creating a shape between the pages (think triangle). But there is always something to link the pages together.
Of course when embellishing this album I had to use the Botanical Rub-On Transfers. I love layering these with the Laser Cuts looks – don’t you? And that adorable Laser Cut Fence?! I’ll take 100 please, thank you!
