Hello, 49 and Market Friends!
I can’t believe I already have my first project with the beautiful Vintage Artistry Nature Study collection to show you.
I just loved this collection. I love contact with nature, exploring new places, observing fauna and flora, enjoying simple moments and so much meaning.
I chose one of the papers from the 12×12 Collection Pack, Etchings. I cut it in half and tore the edges about 1″ and rolled the edges, leaving the black plaid very visible. Also, I chose the wonderful butterfly Soar paper to glue under the main paper. I cut a 3″ strip of the paper and glued the two pieces of Etchings paper to the top and bottom edges of the Soar paper.
In the middle of my page, I placed a green frame from Nature Study Ephemera Bits and over it I pasted the two photos I took of my daughter on a walk through the gardens of the Tibaes Monastery in Portugal.

I used some chipboard scraps glued under my photos to give height. On top of the photo of my daughter, I used a magnifying glass to highlight her in the photo.
On the top left, I applied 6×8 mushroom rub-ons transfer and on the bottom right, leaving my page with more details in the background.
I love how all the papers in this collection are delicately decorated, leaving lots of spaces for us to try new products and materials.
To decorate my page, I separated many butterflies from Nature Study Laser Cut Wings and glued them only on the body leaving their wings in high relief. I love the effect on the photo that this simple detail gives.
I chose some very large ones and some very similar to the background paper print, giving the impression that they are coming out of the paper.
I finalized with some other details from the Ephemera bits package, like phrases, the title, mushrooms, and leaves to decorate my page. I can’t help but also comment on the beautiful acetate details like leaves and glass jars.
