Today I want to share with you this mini album that I prepared with the beautiful Vintage Artistry Everywhere collection.
I prepared a rectangular structure horizontally, with two inner compartments that serve to store the small folders, tickets, trip details and a spiral notebook for more photos.
I prepared the external structure from scratch, using pieces of chipboard measuring 5 “x7″ inches for the front and back cover, 1 3/4” for the spine. For the inside pocket, I used 3 “x5″ inches and a small 3/4” spine.
I used the Wonder paper from the 12×12 collection paper pack for the covers and inside pocket, and for the spine the Pilgrimage paper with its orange print, giving that special touch to the structure. I double-stitched the paper and then glued the two parts together: cover and back cover with inside pockets.
I lined the inside of the inner structure with Colored Foundation 2 paper and finished closing the inner pockets. I put two eyelets on the small spines of the pockets to pass a blue cord from the Cluster Kit, to help me close my album better.
I did all the external decoration with elements from the Cluster Kit, Ephemera Bits and Bubbles and Baubles. On the inside of the mini, I used lots of rub-ons on the sides of the pockets of the 6×8 transfer set. On the inside of the covers, I used 12×12 Sentiment Transfer sheet.
On the inside of the pockets, I glued the File Essentials envelope pockets to better organize all the details that go inside and hold the spiral notebook.
Then I decorated the three small folders from File Essentials and a Spiral Notebook with chipboard elements and ephemera bits and chipboard frames for the pictures. Rub-ons and phrases from ephemera bits to make my album even more personalized.
