Love this Place – Layout by Valeska Guimaraes

Hello, 49 and Market Friends!

Valeska here with you with another page using the stunning Vintage Artistry Everywhere collection. I absolutely love everything about it. I feel that all travel photos fit on the pages of this collection. The mix of vintage and modern touches gives it a perfect balance. Not to mention the palette is just perfect.
I decided to create a very masculine page for my son and my husband posing beside Tower Bridge on our last trip to London. I wanted to highlight the light blue, navy, and some touches of green that you can see in the photo, as if all the elements came out of the photos onto paper.

I chose Great Big World paper as my base, two photos vertically that I positioned in Chipboard Map Frames and some pieces of paper from Ephemera bits to build some layers underneath my photos. Normally, to make the layers of paper and elements, I use 3d foam adhesive and go on interleaving the heights so that everything looks harmonious.

On the base paper, I applied the Defining Words rub-on in the lower left corner and in the upper right corner, some splashes and geotag from the 12×12 Rub-on Transfer sheet. Next, I positioned a striped paper from the Cluster Kit with a fastener and the little word awesome from the chipboard set.

You can see several elements pasted around my photos, such as cameras, airplane, Geo frames, compass, and a Traveler banner on top. Underneath one of the glued photos, I positioned several tickets in layers, leaving the bottom unglued edges pointing up, giving more volume, and drawing more attention to my title, which I used from the Chipboard set: Love this Place!

To finish, I stamped the date with blue ink on one of the round tabs of the Ephemera bit and applied some wishing bubbles and baubles. In the bottom left corner, I made a scratch of blue tickets and attached them with staples from the stapler.

49 and Market products:

I really liked the result and already want to create a double page for this one, with other shades of the collection.
I hope you have been inspired to create with this beautiful collection.
See you next time!
