Hello Lovelies,
Thank you for joining me on the blog today with the Color Swatch Toast Collection which offers gorgeous shades of brown allowing for monochromatic layouts. This collection includes the beautiful collage sheets so I wanted to include them on my layout to depict the cover of a book with several worn pages.
I chose to apply some ghost stenciling to the page first to create a worn-washed effect and then secured a page from the color swatch toast 6×8 mini collection paper pack as the first page of my imaginary book.
The second page of my book is a sheet from the collage sheets which I punched to emphasize a torn page effect. I then chose another sheet from the collage sheets to create the cover of the book and embellished the left side with some buttons and platted border to give the effect of the binding of a book.
I used several elements from the envelope bits and laser cut elements to layer in between the pages. The photo on the cover was secured underneath a frame from the frame set and the right side of the book was embellished using some acetate leaves and Majestic Bouquet Marble flowers.
I added some splatter rub on transfers to the bottom right and top right of the page to finish off the layout and created a little cluster at the top right-hand side, again using elements from the collage sheets, envelope bits and laser cut elements.
