Hello lovelies!
Oh my gosh aren’t these new releases from 49 and Market just stunning – and I am loving these color swatch series. Today I have created a layout using the Color Swatch Blossom collection. Isn’t this color just fabulous? (I actually want to say it’s delicious!)
The base of my layout is the Color Swatch Blossom page 4 – the reverse side – from the Color Swatch Blossom 12 x 12 Collection paper pack. The next step was to create my photo matt – using different size frames from the Blossom Frame Set and adhering these under and over my photos to create the matt.
The X X X is stitching elements from the Blossom 6×8 rub-on transfer set – these are really cute! I adhered my matt to the page with foam tape in the centre, as I added rub-ons after I had stuck this down, using the page with all the splotches and wording from the rub-on pack. I cut these into pieces and arrange around my layout. I then began to create my flower cluster – using the two biggest flowers out of the Wildflowers Punch paper flower pack and building out my cluster with smaller flowers (also using Taffy Florets paper flowers), and elements from the Blossom laser cut elements sheet. A little tip – I don’t always use the full element that comes off the sheet – I tend to cut these, or shape them to create my clusters. The little quote “wild spirit, soft heart, sweet soul” is also from the Blossom laser cut sheet. The circle with the heart is from the Vintage Artistry Tranquility Chipboard words pack.
The twine across the page is also from the laser cut sheet – and I have cut this to fit my page, using a extra “bow” on top of it’s bow to create a double bow feature.
I then created a smaller cluster feature at the to of the page. I first added some splotch rub-ons and then cut the frame so that it was flash up to the edge of the page, I then added more rub-ons (words and stitching) over that frame before creating the flower cluster. I then added the title “Picture Perfect” from the Blossom 6×8 rub-on transfer sheet.
I finished off adding some of the rub-on butterflies to the page.

Thank you for visiting the blog today, and I hope that you enjoy creating with this beautiful range as much as I did.
