Hello all, Nicole here with my first project of the month! I made this gorgeous Valentine’s Day decor using elements from the ARToptions Rouge collection and the Color Swatch Blossom collection!
I had a wooden heart for decor that I got from Amazon and covered it with the ARToptions Rouge Color Foundations 1 paper and used a file all the way around the heart to get any thing that was hanging over. Next I started my embellishing.
I made a big cluster of embellishments on the left side of my heart layering up little bits with foam dots. I used several tickets on this project. I fussy cut some of them from the opposite side of the branding in the ARToptions Rouge 12 x 12 Collection Paper Pack. I also used tickets from the Ephemera Bits and from the Color Swatch Blossom Ticket Essentials. Clustered in there as well was a filmstrip from the Color Swatch Blossom Acetate Filmstrips and two frames from the Rouge Ephemera Bits. To finish of my left cluster I added florals from the Rouge Chipboard Set, leaves from the Ephemera Bits, and more florals from the Nature’s Bounty Paper Flowers in Salt.
To make the title: “so sweet”, I used the Rouge 12×12 Sentiments Rub-on Transfer Sheet and rubbed the sentiment on some of the left over bits of my Color Foundations 1 paper. I fussy cut this so that I had my title. For the small cluster on the right side of my heart, I also used some more of the Rouge Ephemera Bits, Color Swatch Blossom Ticket Essentials (the stamp), and the Color Swatch Blossom Laser Cut Elements (buttons and doily). Then to finish the whole project, I used the Rouge 6×8 Rub-on Transfer Set to add little paint splatters around my clusters.
Thanks so much for stopping in to read about my project. I really enjoyed making it and I hope it gives you some ideas on how to use your 49 & Market product. You can also watch my process video of this layout on the 49 & Market YouTube channel here:
