Hello, 49 and Market Fans!
This is my first time joining you on the Blog and such a privilege to be able to share my layout with you all. Hope that you have all had a Joyful Christmas and the best start to the New Year.
I drew my inspiration from the beautiful little girl in my photo and the gentle soft hues of blues, coupled with the gorgeous Vintage Artistry Serenity collection which is full of soft, subtle and beautiful shades of blue, cream and brown. The softness and gentle tones in this collection is so captivating.
I started by selecting the Vintage Artistry Serenity Brief Glimpse paper as my base page. I hand tore a piece from the top right corner and the bottom of the Vintage Artistry Serenity Peaceful Notions paper. I distressed the areas that had been torn and used a silicone glue (Olba) to secure this to the base page allowing me enough time to add other elements in between the two sheets of paper.
I used some Vintage Artistry Serenity broad washi tape from the set to secure at the bottom left side and elements from the Ephemera Bits and Laser Cut elements to add interest to both the top right and bottom right corners.
I then added my title at the bottom left corner by using a sentiment from the Vintage Artistry Serenity 12×12 Sentiments Rub-ons.
I created the mat for my photo using elements from the Vintage Serenity Remnants Pack, Ephemera Bits, and Laser Cut Outs. These were layered one on top of the other using foam tape and silicone glue to create dimension and height and secured to the page. I added some chipboard twirls at the top right as a decorative element.
I added some script rub-on from the Vintage Artistry Serenity 6×8 Rub-on to the left and top of the photo mat cluster to add additional interest to the page.
I shaped and layered the leaves and flowers from the laser-cut elements and bonus sheet by securing them with silicone glue to allow them to keep the shape and dimension.
To finish off my page I added some little butterflies and sentiments to the cluster.
