Hello, 49 and Market Friends,

Today I want to share with you the album I made using the beautiful Vintage Orchard collection and the Foundations Mixed-up landscape album in white.

The album measures 8.5“x 6.5”x 2.75” and has three inside pages: gate-fold, side flip, tri-fold and pocket. Everything fits together perfectly, and you can glue the small flips to the inside spine of the album, and everything is already assembled. For the decoration, I used the Vintage Orchard 6×8 collection pack to cover the cover and all the inside pages.

I sewed the papers I had chosen to decorate the spine and cover of the album, glued laser cut elements and wildflowers in layers, as well as some wishing bubbles and epoxy stickers. To close the album, I glued a satin ribbon to the front and back covers.

I also used 12×12 Journal Cards paper to use the cards on various other internal pages. I thought it gave the album a very special touch.

Also, to decorate the inside pages, I used ephemera bits, blendable rub-ons transfer, acetate, chipboard set and chipboard words. It’s so much easier to make everything beautifully decorated when the collection has all the elements you need.

In my process of layering and decorating the pages, I also used the Birdsong set of stamps and metal dies from Sizzix with 49 and Market with brown pigment ink.
I’ve left the space to glue the photos in later, and of course, to tell the story of those unforgettable family moments.
