Hello everyone,
Julie back with you again today sharing my layout using the gorgeous new Kaleidoscope collection. This is such a pretty collection full of blues & pinks with a touch of green & beautiful flowers, butterflies & hummingbirds plus all the normal goodness from 49 and Market, tickets, labels & eclectic pieces.
I started by using the back of the cover page from the solid collection pack, which is the beautiful teal shade with text already printed on & started to build my photo cluster over on the right.
I first adhered the blue branding strip, vertically, off the ‘tessellated beauty’ paper & cut out a large circle, which i placed on the left of the strip. I cut another smaller circle out the ‘newsprint-floral promenade’ paper, cut it in half & added top left & bottom right of the blue strip & added some machine & hand stitching.
I matted my 3.5 x 3.5 photo with some of the laser cut elements & bits from the Kaleidoscope page kit & adhered to the right if the vertical strip, tucking in some of the mini laser cut elements, chipboard & a botanical rub on.
The half circles, out the ephemera bits, were perfect to continue the circle theme. I placed an acetate leaf along the top left circle & my title came from the ephemera bits pack.
I added a small cluster to the bottom left edge tucking in a mini laser cut element, a ticket out the ephemera bits & added some machine stitching & rub ons from the essentials pack.
